Paradise Valley Montana Camping

About Us

Our History

Tiny Town Campground began as an idea by Nicolette Allen to create a different kind of stay in Emigrant, Montana, in the heart of Paradise Valley—just north of Yellowstone National Park.

After spending time in the area, Nicolette saw that most visitors were choosing between expensive lodges, busy hotels or traditional campgrounds. She set out to build something affordable, simple and more intentional—lodging that matched the landscape while giving guests a better way to experience it.

Located between Livingston and Gardiner, Tiny Town has evolved into a collection of A-frame cabins designed for travelers who want to explore Yellowstone while staying somewhere clean, simple, and more connected to Paradise Valley.

The goal has stayed the same: create a place where guests can spend their days in Yellowstone, on the river, or exploring the valley—and come back to something simple, comfortable, and intentionally designed.

Paradise Valley

Paradise Valley is one of the most scenic areas in Montana, stretching between Livingston and Gardiner along the Yellowstone River and leading directly to the North Entrance of Yellowstone National Park.

Staying in Paradise Valley gives you a different kind of Yellowstone experience. Instead of being in a city or town, you’re based in open country with mountain views, access to the river, and a quieter pace. From here, you can spend the day exploring Yellowstone, fly fishing, hiking, or wildlife watching—and still return somewhere that feels relaxed and removed from the busiest parts of the park.

Tiny Town Campground is located in Emigrant, Montana, right in the center of Paradise Valley. This puts you about 30 minutes from Yellowstone’s North Entrance, just a 7 minute drive to Chico Hot Springs, walking distance to the Old Saloon, and a 26 minute drive from Livingston’s restaurants, shops, and local scene.

For travelers looking to experience Yellowstone while staying somewhere more scenic, less busy, and more connected to Montana, Paradise Valley is one of the best places to base your trip.

Tiny Town Campground is a small, locally owned & operated property based in Emigrant, Montana, in the heart of Paradise Valley. As a hands-on business, our team is directly involved in the day-to-day experience—from preparing the cabins to maintaining the property and helping guests get the most out of their stay near Yellowstone National Park.

Because we live and work in the area, we’re familiar with the rhythms of Paradise Valley and the surrounding region. Whether it’s understanding the best time to enter Yellowstone, pointing guests toward local spots like Chico Hot Springs, or simply keeping the property running smoothly, our focus is on creating a straightforward and reliable experience.

We’ve intentionally kept Tiny Town simple and well-managed. That means clean A-frame cabins, clear communication, and a setup that allows guests to spend more time exploring Yellowstone, the Yellowstone River, and Paradise Valley—and less time dealing with unnecessary complications.
