We are located in Emigrant, Montana, in the heart of Paradise Valley — 30 miles from the North Entrance of Yellowstone National Park in Gardiner, about a 30 minute scenic drive along the Yellowstone River. Chico Hot Springs is 3 miles away (7 minutes), and Livingston is about 25 minutes north.

Yes! All 10 A-frame cabins are open year-round with no seasonal closures. Yellowstones North Entrance at Gardiner is also open year-round, giving you access to Lamar Valley, Cooke City, and guided winter wildlife tours. Chico Hot Springs and a wide range of winter activities are just minutes away.

Yes — several are within walking distance or a short drive. The Old Saloon, Wildflour Bakery, Follow Yer Nose BBQ, and the Emigrant Outpost are all nearby. Chico Hot Springs Resort (7 minutes) has a dining room and the Chico Saloon. Pine Creek Lodge and Sage Lodge are also a short drive. Hours change with the season, so we recommend Googling locations near Emigrant, Montana to confirm before you head out.

More than we can list here — most guests spend at least a day in Yellowstone National Park (30 minutes away). Other options include hot springs soaking at Chico Hot Springs Resort (7 min) and Yellowstone Hot Springs, fly fishing on the Yellowstone River, whitewater rafting and scenic float trips, horseback riding, hiking and mountain biking, Yellowstone winter tours and wildlife viewing, snowmobiling in Cooke City, Nordic skiing and snowshoeing, and dining, live music, rodeos, art walks, and scenic drives. We suggest using Google Maps – Things to do near Emigrant, Montana – for current hours and seasonal availability.

Yes — you will probably see Mule Deer right outside your cabin window in the morning! Occasionally, Elk, Moose, Coyote, Foxes are present in the Paradise Valley area, though they are rarely seen on the property itself. Do not leave food or garbage outside unless it is in a provided trash can or locked in your vehicle. Wild animals are unpredictable, so please do not approach them.

The property is self check-in & guests typically do not require assistance but we are available by phone if needed. On the morning of your arrival, you will receive instructions and a code that will access the property via email or through the messaging system of the platform you booked with (Airbnb, VRBO, etc). The check-in instructions will also contain our on-call phone number should you require any assistance.

Check-in begins at 4 PM — you can arrive any time after that. Check-out is by 11 AM. All cabins are self check-in and check-out using a keycode. We do not have staff on-site but are available by phone or message.

We are not able to accommodate early check-in or late check-out in most cases, as our cleaning teams work between stays. We will message you if your cabin becomes ready earlier than the 4 PM check-in time.

We love hearing from guests, but to keep our cabins as affordable as possible, all reservations must be made online — through our direct booking site online or a hosting platform (VRBO or Airbnb). Booking directly on our website gets you the lowest available rate with no hosting-site fees added.

Yes! Whole-property rental is available for groups who want exclusive use of all 10 cabins. Please note: we do not host weddings or parties on-site, as we are not licensed in Montana for such events. We provide lodging services only. Email Us for details and availability.

Tiny Town books up well in advance, especially during summer and peak Yellowstone season. If your dates are not available, the property is fully booked for those nights. Try adjusting your dates or the length of your stay — cancellations occasionally open availability back up. You can also Email Us to check for other options or to be added to our wait list.

Montana licensing requirements draw a strict line between short-term and long-term rentals. We are licensed for short-term stays only, with reservations up to 29 days. If you are interested in an extended stay, email us — we can discuss a nightly rate depending on season and availability.

Direct Website Bookings only: Travelers who cancel at least 60 days before check-in will receive a full refund (less 5% credit card service fee). Cancellations between 30 and 60 days before check-in will receive a 50% refund (less 5% credit card service fee). Cancellations within 29 days of check-in will be refunded the cleaning fee only (less 5% credit card service fee). Travelers who do not cancel and do not use their reservation will not be refunded at all. All cancellations must go through the hosting site your reservation originated from (Airbnb, VRBO, or a direct booking on our website) and cannot be done over the phone or through messaging. All bookings made through 3rd party sites (such as Airbnb/VRBO etc) are subject to the cancellation policy as advertised on that site.

We pre-authorize a $100 damage deposit the day before check-in. This is not charged to your account — it is a pre-authorization only. The pre-authorization is released after checkout if no damage is reported. This is standard practice for short-term rentals, similar to a credit card hold at a hotel.

Each A-frame cabin has a maximum occupancy of 2 guests. All guests must be counted in your total — regardless of age. No unregistered guests or visitors allowed on the property at any time. No exceptions to the occupancy limit.

Tiny Town is open year-round. Summer offers full access to Yellowstone and local activities, while spring and fall are quieter with fewer tourists. Winter provides a unique experience with access to Yellowstone’s North Entrance and nearby hot springs.

1 vehicle per reservation. No RVs, camper trailers, or pitch-your-own tents. If your vehicle plus any trailer exceeds 22 feet in total length, please contact us before booking.

No children under 12 (families are welcome at our sister property, Emigrant Cabins). Dogs are allowed in A-frame cabins only with advance approval ($25/reservation for up to 2 dogs, no dogs in the common building). No parties or events. No smoking inside any cabin. Quiet hours: 11 PM to 9 AM daily.

No. As advertised, Tiny Town has a shared common building with separate men and women bathhouses — each with private, lockable toilet stalls and private, lockable shower rooms. Towels, toiletries, and a hairdryer are provided. The bathhouse is professionally cleaned every day. If a fully private bathroom is important to you, our sister property Emigrant Cabins) offers traditional cabin accommodations with private bathrooms.

Yes. All 10 A-frame cabins have traditional electric heat and are open and comfortable year-round, including winter.

Yes. Each A-frame has a window-unit air conditioner. To maximize cooling on hot days, keep your blinds closed and doors shut while the AC is running.

Yes! All A-frame cabins have Starlink internet — the fastest and most reliable option available in our area. While it has proven very reliable, we cannot guarantee 100% uptime at all times given our rural mountain location. WiFi details and the password will be sent to you the day of check-in.

Yes. A vehicle is recommended to explore Yellowstone National Park, Paradise Valley, and surrounding areas. While some local spots are within walking distance, most activities require driving an ride share options are either unreliable or more expensive then renting or bringing a vehicle.

Yes — most major carriers have coverage on the property. That said, mountain terrain can cause you to drop signal from time to time, especially inside Yellowstone National Park. We recommend checking your carriers coverage map before you arrive and planning accordingly.

Thank you for your service — we are genuinely honored to host you. Our nightly rates ($108-$224/night) are among the most affordable lodging options in Paradise Valley and are as published. The best way to get the lowest possible rate is to book directly online through our booking engine — you will automatically avoid the hosting-site fees added by Airbnb and VRBO.

Yes! Well-behaved dogs are welcome in A-frame cabins with advance approval — up to 2 dogs per reservation for a one-time $25 fee. Add your pet to your reservation when booking and the fee will be applied automatically. Dogs may not enter the common building (kitchen or bathhouse) at any time and may not be left unattended in the cabin unless kenneled. You are fully responsible for any damage caused by your pet. Service animals are welcome with required documentation provided before your stay.

Tiny Town Campground sits right in the small town of Emigrant, next door to The Old Saloon — a beloved local live music venue. In summer, The Old Saloon has live music on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday until 11 PM, with occasional mid-week concerts. Many of our guests love this as part of the local experience. If you are sensitive to noise or prefer a quieter setting, we would encourage you to check out Emigrant Cabins), our sister property with more traditional private cabin accommodations.

Guest safety is important to us. The property has a security gate so only registered guests can access the property. We also have motion-activated Ring-style driveway cameras at the entry and exit points. Cameras activate when a vehicle enters or motion is detected — we use the footage only to check on property conditions and confirm arrivals. We do not monitor footage on a rolling basis. There are no cameras or recording devices in any interior location on the property. Your privacy is fully respected.

Our team is available for urgent needs 24/7 via the phone number provided to you the day of check-in. For non-urgent questions, reach us by responding to a message we sent you or Email or through the messaging portal of your booking platform (Airbnb, VRBO etc). Guests rarely need assistance, but we are here when you do.

Yes. If your preferred dates are not available, Email us with your desired dates and the number of guests and we will add you to our wait list. Cancellations do happen, especially closer to the date, and we will reach out if a cabin opens up.
